Terms of Service

Last updated: May 2, 2026

These Terms of Service govern your use of flowengine.org and any services provided by flowengine ("we," "us," or "our"). By engaging our services or using this website, you agree to these terms.

Services

flowengine provides custom business process automation consulting and implementation services, including workflow design, system integration, and process optimization for small businesses. The specific scope, deliverables, timeline, and pricing for each engagement are defined in a separate written agreement or proposal provided to you before work begins.

Payments

Payment terms are specified in your project agreement. Unless otherwise agreed in writing:

  • A deposit is required before work begins
  • Remaining balances are due upon project completion or at milestones defined in your agreement
  • Invoices not paid within 30 days of the due date may accrue a late fee of 1.5% per month
  • We reserve the right to pause work on accounts with outstanding balances

Intellectual Property

Upon receipt of full payment, you own the custom automations and workflows we build for your business. We retain the right to use general methodologies, techniques, and non-proprietary components in future work for other clients. We do not retain rights to your business data, credentials, or proprietary processes.

Confidentiality

We treat all client business information, credentials, and data as confidential. We will not share your information with third parties except as required to deliver your project (e.g., integration platforms) or as required by law. You agree to keep our pricing, methodologies, and any proprietary tools we share with you confidential.

Third-Party Platforms

Many automation projects involve third-party platforms (e.g., Zapier, Make, HubSpot, QuickBooks). Your use of those platforms is governed by their own terms of service. We are not responsible for changes, outages, pricing changes, or discontinuation of third-party services that affect automations we have built.

Support and Maintenance

Support periods are defined in your project agreement. After the support period ends, ongoing maintenance, updates required due to third-party platform changes, and new feature requests are billed separately. We will notify you before performing any billable work beyond your original scope.

Limitation of Liability

Our liability is limited to the amount paid for the specific service giving rise to the claim. We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages including lost profits, data loss, or business interruption. We make reasonable efforts to deliver working automations but cannot guarantee that third-party platforms will remain stable or unchanged.

Termination

Either party may terminate an engagement with written notice. If you terminate before project completion, you are responsible for payment for work completed to date. We reserve the right to terminate engagements where payment is not received or where project requirements change materially from the original scope.

Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Utah. Any disputes will be resolved in the courts of Washington County, Utah.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of our services after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
